RTV silicone rubber coating and its application in Tianjin Power System is introduced in this paper.This technology changes the situation of anti-pollution flashover of insulators in power system from short time effective,high cost and low reliability to long time effective,low cost and high reliability.This application technology provides a successful method to solve the problem of pollution flashover and it must be widely applied in transmission line,substation and distribution system in China.
