论日本早期现代化过程中的高校自治与进步运动

On the Autonomic and Progressive Movementsof College in the Early Stage of Japanese Modernization

2 0世纪初日本高校自治与进步运动兴起。高校的进步运动构成了日本大正民主运动、社会主义运动的组成部分 ,对于促进当时日本政治现代化的展开起了推波助澜的作用。但随着日本政府控制的加强 ,特别是随着日本的法西斯化 ,到 2 0世纪 30年代 ,这一运动最后以失败告终。对这一时期日本高校自治与进步运动的研究 ,有助于我们认识日本早期现代化的发展进程。

Japanese higher education enjoyed a remarkable development in the early stage of the 20th century. The autonomic and progressive movements of college, which was the ingredient of Taisho democratic movement and socialistic movement in Japan, accelerated the outspread of Japanese political modernization. Under the control of the Japanese government ,especially along with Japanese fascistalization, the movement finally was defeated in 1930s. The study on the autonomic and progressive movements of college will make for the acknowledge of the developing course of the early stage of Japanese modernization.
