浅谈译文的准确性与通俗性

An Elementary Study on Accuracy and Popularity of Translation

翻译是一种特殊的创作 ,译者在翻译中除了要忠实于原作者外 ,还需充分重视译文读者群的文化、风俗习惯和语言环境 ,也即译文的通俗性 。

This essay expounds that translation is a kind of creation in which the translator should give consideration not only to the accuracy but also the popularity of the translation. Therefore,the author illustrates,one should take such factors into account as the culture, custom and language environment to which the readers of the versions belong and,as a result,the best readability of the translation can be achieved.
