摘要
《左传·僖公二十三年》一文中“乞食于野人 ,野人与之块”之“块 ( )”字 ,应训释为“土块”或“一块土” ,而不能如陆宗达、陈桂申两位先生所说的那样 ,将其训释为“土筐”或“草器”。
The word 'kuai' in 'A savage gave him a 'kuai'' in Zuo Zhuan ·Xi Gong the 23rd Year needs to be explained as 'clod' or 'block of soil', instead of 'basket for holding earth' or 'straw article 'explained by Lu Zongda and Chen Guishen.
