The Propagating of the Poetry of Jiangxi Branch in the Period of the Last Days of the Song Dynasty to the Early Days of the Yuan Dynasty

宋末元初 ,江西诗派依然有所传承 ,从作者身份方面讲 ,多具有较高的社会地位 ,从地域方面讲 ,则以江西和杭州两地为主。其中以方回为代表的诗学大家对于这种传续起到了重要的作用。

In the period of the last days of the Song Dynasty to the early days of the Yuan Dynasty, there remained the propagating of the Jiangxi Branch poetry. The writers of this style of poetry of the time were those of higher social statue and the activity regions were in the areas about Hangzhou and Jiangxi province. The representative poet was Fang Hui who did well as an exponent of the Jiangxi school of poetry. The style was, of course, the style of the original Jiangxi school, but, indeed, there was something new as we find in some of the then poetries, especially in the last days of the Song dynasty, and this was the result of the influence of the time.
