Aim To design and synthesize 3 (2 alkyloxy 5 methylphenyl) 3 phenylpropylamine derivatives,and to search for the drug for urinary incontinence with fewer side effects and improve its activities Methods The title compounds were synthesized through cyclization,methylation,amidation,reduction,or demethylation from cinnamic acid and p cresol Results Ten new compounds were obtained Their structures were confirmed by IR and 1H NMR.
