A Survey of Diabetes Prevalence in the Government Officers Over 40 Years of Age

目的 调查某部 4 0岁以上机关干部糖尿病的患病情况。方法 对研究对象进行问卷调查 ,并测量血糖、血脂、身高、体重、腰围与臀围。结果 2 6 19人中按WHO诊断标准糖尿病的患病率为 11 72 % ,糖尿病的患病率随着年龄、体重指数和腰围的增加而升高。结论 某部 4 0岁以上机关干部糖尿病患病形势严峻。

Objective To survey the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in the government officers over 40 years of age. Methods The questionaire were conducted, fasting serum glucose, fasting total plasma cholesterol, triglyceride as well as body height, weight, waist and gluteal circumferences were measured. Results According to WHO criteria, the prevalence rate of diabetes mellitus was 11.72% among 2 619 subjects, the prevalence rate of diabetes mellitus was increased with increasing age, body mass index and waist circumference. Conclusion Diabetes had become prevalent in the government officers over 40 years of age.\;
