Henry James is an outstanding novelist and theorists.He can be seen as a connecting link between the preceding nineteenth century realism novel and the following twentieth century modernism novel.This paper analyses the narrative point of view in his early work 'Daisy Miller' and later works 'The Ambassadors' and 'The Wings of the Doves'.It tries to show Henry James's constant innovation in narrative point of view and his influence on the development of modernism novel.
