On Features and Construction of Western Minority Culture

西部地区是中华文明的重要发祥地 ,具有丰富的中华传统文化历史底蕴和鲜明的民族特征。认真研究西部少数民族文化特征 ,认识东西方文明互补互融的规律 ,构建西部的特色文化 ,对于进一步落实江泽民“三个代表”重要思想 ,把握先进文化的前进方向 ,具有重要的理论和现实意义。

Chinese civilization has its origin in Western Area, a place rich in the mainstream Chinese traditional culture and histrory. To conduct a serious study of the features of western cultrure and to well acknowledge the compatible system between the eastern and western civilizations will definitely contribute to the construction of the distinguished western culture, which is of both theoretical and realistic significance to the deepening of Jiang Zhemin's 'Three Representatives'and maintaining the correct direction in the development of the advanced cultrure.
