FU Si-nian and the foundation of the archeology of modern China

在中国近代考古学的建立过程中 ,傅斯年做出了卓越的贡献。外国对中国文物的掠夺和当时中国的史学现状 ,促使他在史语所内设立考古组 ;考古组成立后 ,他对考古工作的统筹规划及人才培养、资金筹措、解决纠纷、组织考古团体等方面 ,给予了极大的支持 ;在他的领导下 ,史语所考古组进行的考古活动 。

FU Si nian contributed greatly to the foundation of the modern Chinese archeology.The foreign robbery to the Chinese historical relic and China's present situation of history urged him to establish the Archeology Group in the Research Institute of History and Language.After the establishment of it,he supported all kinds of work of the Archeology Group actively. Under his leadership, the archeology activity of the Archeology Group pushed forward the establishment of the archeology of modern China.
