浅谈进一步开放民办高校与“教育失控”问题

Views on the Issue about Further Development of Private Universities and Incontrollability of Education

民办高校在坚持正确的办学方向 ,促进公办高校提高质量与效益 ,以及加快实现中国高等教育大众化等方面 ,都有其存在、发展的充分理由及不可替代的重要作用。本文论述了开放民办高校不一定会导致“教育失控”的问题 ,建设政府根据经济社会发展的需要进一步开放民间力量兴办高等院校。

The existence and development of private universities are well_grounded and have an important role to play in respects of adhering to the right principle for running a university, helping improve the quality and efficiency of public universities; and accelerating the process of mass_oriented higher education. This paper argues against the view that development could result in incontrollability of education, and concludes that the government should lift restrictions on the development of private universities.
