History is a bridge to connect the past with the present and the future. In this article, based on the systematic method and model method, and according to the several different clues of model-identification, the historical changes and the main stages of talent-cultivating models of higher education are discussed . Therefore, a basic precondition can be provided to reveal the problems of the present talent-cultivating models, and to predict the developing tendency of talent-cultivating models of higher education in the future.
