Academy and Compilation of Fanglue in Qing Dynasty

方略，是清代的战争专史，属于官修史书的范畴。其 史学价值，一方面表现在它具有很高的史料价值；另一方面表现在它在历史编纂学上的意义 。作为反映清朝重大军事活动的记录，方略又较多涉及到边疆和民族问题，对于研究清代的 军事史、边疆史与边疆政策、民族史与民族政策，以及宗教、结社问题，自然是十分珍贵的 史料。方略属于当代史，具有资料汇编的性质，偏重于宣扬王朝武功，保存历史史事，着眼 于政治借鉴。这样的特点，又表明方略不同于传统的纪事本末体史书，而是这种史书体裁一 种新的形式。

As a kind of specialized records war history in Qing Dy nasty,Fanglue belongs to official compilation. The historiographical value of Fa nglue is that it contributes to not only historical materials but also historica l compilation.As historical records of war in Qing Dynasty,Fanglue as well kept many valuable materials for studies of border areas,national minorities,religion s,mass organizations and relative policies of Qing Dynasty.In respect of its spe cial purpose to memorize the merit in war by Qing Dynasty and its special method in collecting temporal materials,Fanglue could be regarded as a new style which is in some different from traditional separate accounts of important events.
