This paper presents an introduction to 650 blooming reheating furnace which has crisscross choker at the preheating section. It includes the installation of the crisscross choker, its structure features and its effects. Past two years'operation shows that, in the furnace which uses bottom fume offtake, the furnace pressure at the charge door remains zero or slightly below zero and that compared with other 650 blooming reheating furnace the fume offtake temperature at furnace rear is reduced by 200^-250℃.
