道德生命的凝铸在我国古代悲怨文学中占了相当的比重。传统的伦理道德在今天看来有它的消极性和保守性，但对古代中国人来说，无论如何却是他们社会性生命的重要组成部分。即以今天的目光衡量，虽然不无遗憾，有相当一部分道德悲剧在文学中还是表现出特有的认识价值和艺术价值。

The moulding of morality as part of the life occupies a large proportion in the Chinese classical literature of plain-tive mentality.Although the traditional morality doubtless has some conservative and negative elements，it constitutes an important part of the individual life for the people in ancient China.Even from the contemporary point of view，quite a large number of morality tragedies in Chinese literature，despite some inadequacy，have reflected their unique ideological attain-ments and artistic quality.
