后现代主义站在现代主义的对立面 ,痛心疾首地审视和解剖现代主义扩张带来的人与自然的疏离 ,以及由此展开的一系列严重问题。拒斥“中心”、颠覆现代主体性 ,抨击理性主义、推崇非理性 ,反对“同一性”、悦纳不确定性 ,构成后现代主义最基本的特征。尽管后现代主义对医治现代主义痼疾、解决全球性问题能起到一定作用 ,但它带着极端性和片面性的张扬却又极有可能让人遭遇诸多陷阱 ,使人滑向迷茫和危险。后现代主义作为一种反现代主义的文化思潮影响巨大 。

Opposite to modernism, post-modernism carefully observes and dissects the separation between man and nature resulted from modernism expansion and its severe consequences. Refusal of 'center', subversion of modernist subject, attack on rationalism, praise of irrationalism, opposition to identity and acceptance of uncertainty compose the basic features of post-modernism. Although it has some effect on modernist obstinate illnesses and global problems, its extremity and one-sidedness is most likely to lead a person to many traps, to confusion and danger. As a cultural trend opposite to modernism, post-modernism has great consequemes, but its prospect and fate are not optimistic.
