The strong silicified rocks located at the lower part of Pangushan wolframite deposit are a suit of rocks composed of quartz as main mineral composition. Their SiO2 content is generaly more than 90%. The strong silicified rock is a product of metamorphism and siliceous metasomatism of granite genetically correlated with Pangushan wolframite deposit. The extent strong silicified rocks are developped in that part, where amount and general thickness of wolframite-bearing veins obviously were reduced. The strong silicified rocks have an important significance for forecast of concealed granite and exploratory of wolframite-bearing quartz in deep part of Pengushan deposit.
