作为封建社会科举制度成熟和文人政治基本确立时代的典型文人 ,元稹和白居易的风情诗既是唐代社会文化的产物 ,同时又以其典型意义生动表现了古代文人的情爱心理 。

As typical men of letters living in an age when the feudal imperial examination system was mature and the political system of choosing officials by way of examination was basically set up,Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi composed their coquettish poetry as a result of Tang dynasty society and culture,vividly representing ancient scholars' amorous psychology with its characteristic significance.As a result,their poetry is of general cultural importance.
