Wang Chonghui and China's Foreign Policy in the Early Years of Anti-Japanese War

全面抗战初期 ,王宠惠作为外交部长主持南京政府外交部进行了多元的外交活动。主要是 :积极争取对日直接交涉 ,谋求和平解决 ;澄清事实真相 ,寻求国际支持 ;加大对国内外的宣传力度 ,坚定国人的抗战决心。这些谋求和平解决的外交努力由于日本政府的阻挠和英美等国对日的绥靖态度而收效甚微。但是向国际社会揭露日本侵略真相 。

In the early years of the full-scale Anti-Japanese War,Wang Chonghui,as a foreign minister of the Foreign Affair's Office of Nanjing government,took the multi-policy in the foreign activities,including getting in touch with Japan directly;solving the problems peacefully;clarifying the facts;seeking the international support,strengthening the propaganda at home and abroad;enhancing Chinese determinations of anti-war,all of which achieves Little because of the blocking of Japanese government and the appeasing attitude of British and America.But it is right to expose the truth of Japanese invasion to the world and to get sympathy and support from the international society.
