按照“三个代表”要求加强和改进党的建设 ,是江泽民总书记“七一”讲话的核心内容。“三个代表”重要思想为我们党在新世纪继续保持先进性提供了行动指南 ,是党在新世纪加强自身建设的伟大纲领。贯彻落实江总书记“七一”讲话精神 ,高校党组织应按“三个代表”要求全面推进高校党的建设 ,力求实现党建理论和实践的创新与发展。

The core of Jiang Zemin's speech on July 1 is to strengthen and improve the Party according to the 'Three Represent's. The 'Three Represent's' is the guideline for maintaining the advanced features of the Party and for strengthening the Party in the new century. In order to carry out what Jiang said in the speech, the organization of the Party at university must promote the building of the Party in the university according to the 'Three Represent's' and aim to develop and bring new ideas to the theory and practice of the Party building.
