东大四牌楼校区有着一千八百年的历史 ,是中国高等教育的发源地 ,也是格律诗词的发源地 ,文化积淀深厚 ,教育历史悠久 ,是中国最古老的大学之一。

The Sipailou campus of Southeast University has 1800 years history,it is not only the birthplace of the college education of China,but also the birthplace of the Chinese metrical poetry.It's accumulation of culture is so deep,and it's history of education is so long,we can say that it is one of the oldest universities of China.
