Zong Baihua's Artistic Conception of State of Mind

“意境”是宗白华美学思想的核心。这里首先非常简要地介绍了艺术意境的孕育、形成和发展过程以及宗白华先生对“意境”的界定。接着 ,从“直观感象的模写”、“活跃生命的传达”和“最高灵境的启示”三个方面解读了宗白华先生意境理论层次创构 ,并认定宗白华意境理论不仅是艺术境界的理论 ,更是人生的境界。最后 ,以“舞”为例 。

The artistic state of mind is the core of Zong Baihua's aesthetic thoughts. This article first makes a brief introduction to the gestation, formation and development of artistic state of mind, and its definition given by Zong Baihua. Then, it interprets the hierarchy of this artistic conception, which includes three aspects-description of visual images, conveyance of active inner life and revelation of highest spiritual state of mind. And it concludes that Zong's conception of artistic state of mind is not only the theory of art realm, but also that of life. At last, the unique style of artistic conception of state of mind of Zong Baihua is expounded as being rhythmic with vigor and life.
