This paper introduces the structure and functions of a distance testing system JDTest based on the mode of B/S, discusses the key technologies such as strategies of making paper, arithmetic of grade, safety precautions and communications between users and server.It is an allpurpose test system because of its good opening. The JDTest system has already used in the examination of vocational technology organised by the bureau of personnel of a city.\;
