A systematic study of the hydrolytic condition of water soluble fibroin finish was undertaken. The effect of finish process conditions of the composite of fibroin and glyoxal on the crease resistance of cotton fabric was researched. The result indicated that the composite of fibroin and glyoxal has good synergistic effect. It can improve the crease resistance of cotton fabric remarkably, inhibit the marked lowering of tearing strength and reduce the tendency of fuzzing or pilling of polyester/cotton blend fabric.
