罗汝芳是明代著名的思想家,被称为泰州学派“唯一特出者”。出生于南城县,一生研习理学,传播理学,门人众多,影响深远。罗氏为南城望族,人才辈出,而汝芳又是其杰出代表。汝芳世居南城,生生不息,薪火相传。

Luo Rufang,a famous thinker of Ming Dynasty, was respected as 'the only outstanding person of Taizhou school' .Born in Nancheng.he studied and spread the Confucian school of idealist pholosophy all his life. Followed by many disciples, he influenced others on their minds. The Luo family was a distinguished one, bearing excellent tallents generation after generation, with Rufang as their prominent representative. Rufang lived in Nancheng, worked hard at the philosophy and passed it on to his later generations . Therefore his life and family status are well worth studying.
