Shun's Traditional Virtues

古帝虞舜具有教敬父母，爱护兄弟，吃苦耐劳与热爱农耕，善于用人和团结各部落，实行仁政和造福于民等传统美德，对今天的道德教育仍具有现实意义。

Shun,the emperor of the Yu Dynasty,showed filial respect to his parents and took good care of his brothers and sisters.He enjoyed farming and could bear hardships and stand hard work.Being good at choosing the right person for the right job and uniting the other tribes,he applied a policy of benevolence to bring benefit to the people.His traditional virtues still play an active role in today's moral education.
