喉癌组织中基质金属蛋白酶MMP-2及其抑制剂TIMP-2的表达

Matrix metalloproteinase-2 and tissue inhibitor of metalloteinase-2 expression in tissues of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma

目的 研究 MMP- 2及 TIMP- 2在喉癌组织中表达的情况及其临床相关性 .方法 用免疫组化 L SAB法检测 6 4例石蜡包埋的喉鳞癌组织与 5例正常喉粘膜组织石蜡标本中MMP- 2和 TIMP- 2的表达 .结果 在淋巴结转移组与非淋巴结转移组 MMP- 2的阳性表达率分别为 74 %和 39% ,TIMP- 2的阳性表达分别为 5 2 %和 2 4 % ,经统计学分析二者的 χ2值分别是 7.180 0 (P<0 .0 5 ) ,5 .0 4 2 0 (P<0 .0 5 ) ,表明明显相关 .而 MMP- 2与 TIMP- 2的阳性表达率与喉癌的部位、分化程度、临床分级、病理分级均无明显相关 .结论 检测MMP- 2和 TIMP-

AIM To study the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase 2 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2 in human laryngeal squamous cancer and the relationship between the expressions and clinical features. METHODS MMP 2 and TIMP 2 were examined with immunohistochemicalLSAB method in the paraffinembedded specimens from 64 cases with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) and 5 normals who served as the contol. RESULTS In the group of cervical lymphnode involvement and non cervical lymphnode involvement, their positive rates of MMP 2 were 74% and 39%, and their positive rates of TIMP 2 were 52% and 24%, (MMP 2's χ 2=7.1800, P < 0.05 ; TIMP 2's χ 2= 5.0420 , P <0.05), which showed a significant correlation between them. MMP 2 and TIMP 2 had no relationship with the situation and malignant degree. Both MMP 2 and TIMP 2 were expressed more strongly in carcinoma with cervical lymphnode involvement group than in non cervical lymphnode involvement group, but the high TIMP 2 expression could not control the activity of MMP 2. Nonbalance between MMP 2 and TIMP 2 bore no relationship to human laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma invasion and metastasis. CONCLUSION The detection of MMP 2 and TIMP 2 expressions may contribute to diagnosis and prognosis of LSCC.
