Closely relating to the application of news and social languages of newspapers and periodicals, from the angle of the emergence of the new words, the span shift of terminology, Hongkong and Taiwan words coming into the common language, the unceasing appearing of abbreviantions, the grammatical changes, the forming of the styles of slangs and comfortable languages, the popularity of quotation and imitated topics, the crosswise interaction of mould words, altogether eight points,this article discusses the tendency of words,grammar and rhetoric changes and language of newspapers and periodicals at the intersection of centuries, making a brief analysis of the causes for the changes of language of newspapers and periodicals and the influences upon social pragmatic language, predicting the tendency of some language changes of newspapers and periodicals.
