This paper introduces the methods of pre treatment of cellulose with chemical and physical means.These are sodium hydroxide activation (alkali smmersing),EDA Pre treatment,liguid anammonia activation,enzyme activation,electron beam activation,ball grinder pre treatment and steam explosion activation.This article demostrates the reaction mechanism of these methods.Different pretreatment methods have different effects on cellulse fine structures and reaction behaviours.Here we summarize the recent achievements of pretreatments of cellulose and try to predict the direction of research.
