德育是素质教育的核心 ,在素质教育中首先要注重培养学生的思想政治素质。思想政治素质主要包括理想、信念和政治理论、政治方向素质以及思想品德素质。高校素质教育必须坚持正确的政治方向 ,把爱国主义、集体主义和社会主义主旋律教育以及理想信念教育、诚实守信的思想品德教育和奋斗精神教育放在首位。

Moral education is the core of quality education.In quality education,the greatest attention must be paid to cultivating students' ideological and political quality.The quality mainly includes idea,belief and political theory,political direction and moral character.We must in the quality education adhere to correct political direction and put the following in the first place: the education of patriotism,collectivism,socialism,idea and belief,moral education of honest and keeping one's word and the education of hard struggle spirit.
