Political Participation from the Perspective of Internet

互联网为政治参与的发展提供了机遇和条件 ,能够激发民众政治参与的热情 ,提高民众政治参与的能力 ,拓宽民众政治参与的渠道 ,继而提升政治参与的数量和质量 ,促进民主政治的发展。但是 ,如不加以适当引导 ,互联网也可能产生“参与爆炸”、参与危机和非理性参与等副作用。为此 ,必须推动政府体制创新、加速信息化进程和加强外部调适。

Internet provides ways and opportunities for the development of political participation. It can lead to higher enthusiasm and competence of mass participation in politics with broader channels, higher quantity and quality and further development of democracy. Without proper supervision, Internet may produce side effects, such as the 'participation explosion', participation crisis and irrational participation. Therefore, efforts must be made to propel the innovation of government system, accelerate informationalization and strengthen external modulation.
