摘要 培养合格的初中英语教师是高师英语专业教育的核心目标,实现这一目标应从教学技能训练及其实践能力的培养着手。英语课堂模拟教学作为《英语教学法》课程中教学技能训练内容的主要形式,既使学生有效地获得课堂教学技能和初步的教学实践能力,又强化了学生从教的思想,从而促进了学生向英语教师角色的转换。 The fundamental purpose of English language teaching to students of English at teachers' colleges is to train qualified teachers of English for junior middle schools and the realization of this purpose should begin with the training of the students' teaching skills and the improvement of their ability to do practical teaching. As a chief means of training teaching skills stipulated by the course of English Teaching Methodology, simulated English classes can not only enable the students to acquire the above - mentioned skills and ability, but also strengthen their determination to work as teachers , thus accelerate the role ?transformation from students to teachers.
