The Present Situation of and Prospects for Development of Press Education in China

2 0年来 ,我国的新闻教育事业取得了长足的发展 ,表现在数量猛增 ,规模扩大 ,培养模式不断创新 ,加强交流 ,学术繁荣等多个方面 ,以昂然的姿势进入了 2 1世纪。面向 2 1世纪的中国新闻教育 ,要正确处理好发展数量与提高质量的关系、专业知识教育与相关学科教育的关系等几重关系 ,深化教育改革 。

During this two decades, much progress has been made in press education. The enrollment has been enlarged, new education models appear one after another and exchange has been strengthened. Facing 21st century, we should deal with the relationship between the education of professional knowledge and that of relevant branches of learning reasonably, strengthen education reform and train more excellent journalists for our country.
