在新的世纪启航之际 ,我们回顾 2 0世纪社会主义运动的历史 ,认真总结社会主义实践中的经验教训 ,对于促进社会主义运动在新世纪的复兴 ,具有极其重要的现实意义。 2 0世纪社会主义实践中的主要经验教训可概括为五个方面 :坚持继承马克思主义与发展马克思主义的统一 ,坚持以经济建设为中心与加强民主法制建设的统一 ,坚持社会主义制度与改革其具体制度的统一 ,坚持学习资本主义的长处与反对“和平演变”的统一 。

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, it is of great realistic significance to review the history of the socialist movement and to summarize earnestly its experience and lessons in the last century. All in all,we may conclude in five aspects : Sticking to the unity of inheriting and developing Marxism; Sticking to central economic construction with emphases on democracy and legality; Sticking to the unity of upholding the basic socialist system and reforming the concrete policies; Sticking to the unity of learning the merits of capitalism while opposing 'peaceful evolution'; Sticking to the unity of strengthening the leadership of the CPC and reliance on the masses
