随着全球经济一体化和信息时代知识经济的发展 ,现代机械工程越来越多地体现着知识经济的特征 ,信息化越来越有效地带动着工业化的发展。为适应时代对人才培养的新需求 ,机械类工程信息专业方向初现端倪。论文对建立机械类工程信息专业方向的目的意义。

With the development of global economy integration together with knowledge economy and information age, modern mechanical engineering embodies more and more characteristics of the knowledge economy. Informationalization accelerates the speed of industrialization. The target for specialty of engineering information has just emerged to meet the need of high\|quality talents. This paper discusses the importance of setting up the new orientation of engineering information, education target for training talents, and the knowledge and ability structures as well.
