Some Remarks on College Teachers'Ideological Education in the Period of Transition

通过对新时期高校教师的思想特点、思想政治现状及发展趋势的分析 ,提出了如何加强高校教师思想政治建设的建议 ,旨在呼吁社会和高校的党政部门高度重视这一问题 ,真正发挥高校教师在知识创新。

In the transitional period of our society,the ideological status quo of college teachers manifests some new features with the trend of developing into rationality,practicality and political pluralism.To reinforce college teachers'ideological education,the following points are emphasized:first,confirming the fundamental status of Deng Xiao-ping's theory in the ideological education in collgegs;second,laying stress on both ideological education and professional work;third,concentrating on the cause of teaching;fourth,improving the method of ideological education;fifth,tightening up the building of the faculty.
