摘要
克拉申提出的输入假设是最有争议的外语学习理论之一。它主张习得的一个主要条件是习得者借助于语境和语言信息理解略为超出其语言水平的理想的语言输入。这一假设在第二语言习得研究和教学领域受到极大的重视和研讨 ,但同时不管是理论本身还是该假设对第二语言教学实践的指导都招到了其他学者的质疑和反对。
Krashen's 'Input Hypothesis' is one of the most controversial theories in foreign language learning, which states that one of the main steps toward language acquisition is that through the cues in the context, learners understand language input which contains linguistic items slightly beyond their present linguistic competence. The hypothesis indeed arouses many researchers' interests either in the study of SLA or in the practice of second language teaching. But again there have been some arguments either about the input hypothesis theory itself or its application to teaching practice.
