摘要
词汇是语言中最活跃、最敏感的要素。为适应社会政治、经济、文化心态等诸方面的变化 ,词汇要不断地创新、充实、丰富。文章从词汇的角度 ,选择汉、英语言中的新词语 ,从造词、词语结构和词语使用几方面 ,探索汉、英民族文化心理的印记 ,以说明作为重要文化现象的语言 ,必然受到民族文化心理的影响。
Vocabulary is the key element of a language. It constantly undergoes recreation and enrichment to adapt itself to the changes in the fields of politics, economics, cultural mentality, etc. From the perspective of formation, structure, and usage of the neologisms in Chinese and English, the present paper attempts to expound that the language, as the carrier of culture, inevitably bears the imprints of the cultural mentality of the nation that uses it.
