在中西文化交流史上 ,利玛窦是最具影响的人物。西方近代科学及天主教在中国能有现在的发展 ,利氏是有开创之功的。文章从西学翻译的角度 ,通过介绍与分析利玛窦的著作来评价其对中国数学、天文学、地理学、思想文化以及语言。

Matteo Ricci is of great importance in the history of Chinese western culture communication. It is his early effort that western modern science and Christianity have got such achievement today. From the angle of the translation of western works, this paper analyzes and evaluates Ricci's influence on China's science and culture such as mathematics, astronomy, geography, language, music religion and thought.
