Chinese classic 'Xiaoshuo' (小说) is not a thoughly pure stylish concept of literature and art corresponding to 'fiction' or 'novel' in the west. It is mainly a concept of knowledge and value formed with specific orientation, and is defind in Chinese feudal social culture. Later, it is extended to the field of literature with stylistic color. 'Xiaoshuo' gets its orientation, gets generated and forms its culture features in the system of dual contradictory cultures which is constituted by 'Xiaoshuo'(小说), and 'Jingshi'(经史) the Chinese classic 'Xiaoshuo' (小说)shares the short.
