摘要
21世纪是信息时代 ,交流的时代 ,在我国正式成为 WTO成员之后 ,交际将在各个层面、各个领域、各个时刻广泛而深入地进行。作为重要交际工具的英语将发挥越来越重要的作用。文章试图通过分析当前大学英语精读教学中存在的问题 ,结合笔者的教学实践 ,探索在大学英语教学中提高学生英语应用能力的新途径。
