在危机引发全国性大萧条的混乱局势下 ,罗斯福为稳定政局 ,采取大规模的社会福利救济措施 ,防止了国家的动乱 ,为经济的发展和社会的稳定与进步开辟了道路 ,也为美国成为第二次世界大战反法西斯统一战线中的主力成员创造了条件。

Roosevelt took a large scale of social welfare relief measures under the critical situations of the Great Depression caused by the economic crisis and the 'New Deal' relaxed the economic crisis and prevented the US from becoming a fascist state .The 'New Deal ' also paved the way for the development of American economy . At the same ,the 'New Deal' created favorable conditions to help the US become the chief power of the anti-fascist united front of World War Ⅱ.
