警惕和防范“西化”“分化”战略的基本对策

Some Basic Countermeasures of Preventing the Strategies of "Westernization" and "Splitting up

西化、分化社会主义中国 ,是国内外敌对势力长期的战略图谋 ,更是他们当前的共同战略目标。我们在坚持改革开放、加强对外经济文化交流的同时 ,必须把警惕和防范西化、分化作为关系国家安全的战略任务抓紧抓好。既要有清醒的思想认识 ,树立长期斗争的战略思想 ;又要认真吸取历史的经验教训 ,制定和形成一套比较完整的应对之策 ,并在经济全球化的浪潮中 ,处理好改革开放与反西化、分化的辩证关系。同时更应注意改进和加强思想政治工作 ,牢固占领思想文化阵地 ,以“三个代表”为指导 。

Westernizing and splitting up socialist China is a long-term strategic scheme of the reactionary forces both at home and abroad, and also their common goal for the time being. While adhering to the policy of reform and opening up to the outside world and strengthening economic and cultural exchanges with foreign countries, we should guard against and keep away westernization and the intention of splitting up China as a strategic task for the sake of the national security. We should not only have a clear mind and get mentally prepared for a long-term struggle, but also learn lessons from historical events and constitute a set of relatively integrated countermeasures. Besides, in response to the trend of globalization, we should handle with care the dialectical relationship between reform and opening up and resisting being westernized and split up. Meanwhile, we should pay more attention to improving and strengthening the ideological work, take a firm position in ideology and culture, and strengthen the party construction with the guidance of the 'Three Represents' proposed by Jiang Zemin.
