模块式地层动态测试仪 (MDT)在准噶尔盆地油气藏的勘探中起到了重要的作用。利用MDT的取样及光学流体分析仪 (OFA)分析样品快速准确地发现油气层 ;根据MDT测得的地层压力剖面精确地确定油 -水 (气 -油、气 -水 )界面 ;利用MDT进行测压及PVT取样 ,可以在勘探早期研究油气藏性质 ;对于油气水关系复杂的油 (气 )藏 ,通过MDT测压及取样 ,可以准确选择试油层位 ,加快勘探进程 ;

MDT (Modular Formation Dynamics Tester tool) plays an important role in reservoir exploration in Junggar Basin. Oil and gas beds have been discovered quickly and accurately by analysing samples from MDT and OFA (Optical Fluid Analyzer); Formation pressure profiles from MDT have accurately identified the oil-water contact; According to MDT′s formation pressures and PVT samples, we have known the reservoir properties in earlier exploration. With MDT pressure measurements and samples, oil-testing beds may be accurately selected in the complex reservoirs, so quickening the exploration progress. And integrating MDT data with NMR data allows estimating productivity.
