从“三个代表”的思想看中国旧民主主义革命的失败

THE FAILURE OF THE OLD CHINESE DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION IN PERSPECTIVE OF THE THOUGHT OF "THE THREE REPRESENTS

太平天国运动因农民革命派不是先进生产力和先进文化的代表 ,最终不能真正代表广大群众的利益 ,而归于失败 ;资产阶级维新派和革命派领导的维新运动、辛亥革命 ,虽然是当时中国新的生产方式的代表 ,也代表着当时的先进文化 ,但由于他们自身的阶级局限性而没能成为最广大人民群众根本利益的代表 ,得不到广大人民群众的拥护和支持 ,也只能以失败而告终。“三个代表”是一个相互联系的有机整体 ,能否忠实地代表最广大人民的根本利益 ,是它的根本。

The Heavenly Kingdom Movement failed because the revolutionary peasants did not represent the advanced productive forces and culture and therefore could not represent the true interests of the broad masses of the people. As for the reform movement and the revolution of 1911 led by the bourgeois reformists and revolutionaries, though representing the new productive forces and the advanced culture of the time, they did not represent the fundamental interests of the people due to their class limitations and therefore could not gain support from the people, and could only ended in failure. 'The three represents' is a closely integrated organic whole while faithfully representing the fundamental interests of the people is its core.
