摘要
古代中国教育的惟一目的就是德育。近现代德育随着知识的不断分化而成为一个独立的方面和学科 ,德育从最高目的逐渐转向普通目的。现当代由于科学的迅速发展和技术理性对人不同程度的压抑与控制 ,教育被片面地理解为智育 ,服从于功利的目的 ,德育也因此变成教育工作的一个辅助部分 ,在教育实践中的社会作用和效果日益降低和减弱。基于这种令人担忧的教育背景和现实 ,我们应寻求现代意义上教育目的的道德回归 。
The ancient education in China gave sole emphasis on the moral character whereas moral education in modern times has evolved into an independent aspect of study and a decipline.The moral role of education as the utmost purpose becomes no other than a common goal.Under the pressure and control of the rapid scientific development and technical reasoning that laid on people to various degrees,education is now lopsided for intellectual purpose,serving the utiliarian purpose,Moral education becomes an anxiliary part of education,playing a less and less important role in the social function and consequence of educational practice with the thought of this sad educational background and reality,we call for a return of the moral significance in the modern sense so as to foster the freedom of thought and the all-rounded development.
