Research on essential fatty acids and phospholipids of marine fish during early development has made important progress in recent years. This paper deals with competitive interactions between essential fatty acids, essentiality of DHA, EPA and AA, levels and types of dietary lipid, and dietary phospholipids of marine fish during early development.
