扩展幂级广播方案中的暂停控制

Providing Pause Control for Extended Exponential Broadcasting Scheme

摘要 提出了一种为轮播方案及扩展幂级广播方案 (ExtendedExponentialBroadcasting ,EEB)提供暂停控制的技术预缓存技术 ,该技术通过利用轮播方案和EEB方案的周期性 ,在客户端增加少量的缓存用于在执行暂停操作时预取部分数据 ,可以实现实时的暂停和继续操作·与传统的通过开辟额外信道的方法相比 ,具有资源占用量小 。 A method called pre buffering method is presented to provide pause and resume control for Cycle Broadcasting (CB) and Extended Exponential Broadcasting (EEB) schemes. It utilizes the regularity of CB and EEB scheme and uses some additional buffer in client to pre fetch the data when starting pause control. Thus the system could provide instantaneous pause and resume. Compared with adding extra channel used in traditional implementation, this method is efficient and easy to implement.
