《国语》《左传》“其与几何”的“与”历来有四种解释 :加强语气或表示停顿的语气词或助词 ,倒装句的语气词 ,副词 ,实词。考察的结论是 :“与”和“其”
There are four explanations of the word YU(与) in Qi Yu Ji He(其与几何) from Guo Yu(国语) and Zuo Zhuan(左传): modal particle or auxiliary word, modal particle in inverted sentences, adverb, notional word. This paper tries to explain the four usages and reaches the conclusion that Qi(其) and Yu(与) are all modal adverbs of retorting.
