摘要
本文分析了大学英语教学中的词汇教学现状及存在问题 ,指出必须纠正目前采用语法—翻译法只注重语言形式而不注意实际交际应用的做法 ,提出了通过“正音”、造句、泛读及利用音像材料进行词汇教学实践的方法 。
In this paper,the author discusses the current situation and the disaduantages of vocabulary teaching in general college English teaching. It is proposed that the teacher should teach students to pronounce correctly and then to make meaningful and practical sentences with the words they have learned as well as to read extensively.It is also suggested that vocabulary teaching should go on with the aids of audio visual lingual practice. It is argued that these vocabulary teaching methods eventually enable students to develop their communicative competence and therefore are more promising teaching approaches whic are suitable to be applied in English teaching.
